This is why the Fed needs to stop doing the press conferences and interviews on financial media.

Jerome P. Is perhaps the biggest anchor ⚓️ of this economy. 💯🎯

Too slow to raise rates, and now too slow to start reducing rates. How has he managed to keep his job????

The reason why Powell doesn’t do any of that is because he’s playing a political game. The fed has never been as biased as it is now

Can Powell reduce rates with a weakening currency and a strengthening Yen?

I don't know which idiot in the US came up this idea of an absolute target of 2% inflation.

You look around the world and you find a staggering correlation between economic growth and inflation. There are no absolutes here! In my country India, the target is not 2% but 4-6% because of the high economic growth.

The target should be the GDP growth! - whatever that is at that time.

Now to achieve this absolute and foolish target of 2%, what the FED is actually doing is deliberately stiffening the actual growth potential of US economy!

Fed will maintain the growth trajectory while allowing things to normalize. Unemployment shouldn't rise much. And this is the floor. 3% growth 2% inflation. By 1st quarter next year. We'll be fine. Economy and the Fed well positioned. There will be no recession. Fear mongering is almost over. Normal is coming.
