Update: More Bugs Fixed!
Proximity sensor while making calls in darker rooms now works perfectly.
Background killing of apps and logging out of my DSTV now app now fixed.
Sustained performance improved.
I'll keep you posted with more.

Updated my poco f3 yesterday and it is indeed buttery smooth. I also noticed that they also improved the animation a little bit. Still not original MIUI level animations but we are getting there.

I'm still waiting for Poco to release the poco Launcher update since the last one dates back to 2020 and i want the "app opening" and "app closing" animations to be fixed.

Beautify for video calls was there from the start. Also the memory extension feature is really unecessary i feel. It uses the physical memory which is much slower and can kill your storage's life much faster.

I was a little worried about why my global version was so behind this update. I'm seeing many say the 12.5.6 version has many issues. The more standard 12.5.5 version I just updated to the November security patch isn't showing any issues that I can see.

This is not Global rom though its the Eu rom version..us global we still on 12.5.4 🤦🏾‍♂️ battery optimization is bad on 12.5.4

Quick question, can I update directly from 12.5.4 Global rom to 12.5.6 eea using the method in your description (pressing miui logo 10 times and choosing update package)

1. problems with my earpiece mic..i still works when i used it on laptop
2. my whatsapp notification has no sound..already turn on all sound

i regret updating to 12.5.4. Ram management is so worse!!!! I mean when I open the game and go to send a msg on insta for a sec and come back to the game, it restarts the whole game again. It's so annoying. But before, it wasn't like that. Now it can't even open games in the background for 5 sec. Do u guys have any fix for that? Phone cant even open games in a background for 5-sec like wtff is that.

Updated my phone 3 days ago and i notice battery life got worse. A 10 minute light use with 60hz on, lowest brightness and only wifi on for connectivity causes the battery to jump form 100percent to 95, what the hell... This update is not recommended. How i wish i could get back to my previous version but I'm not a tech savy guy.

I just got the phone and updated it to 12.5.6 the thing is it was two updates versions suggested to me randomly; one with 2.9 giga bytes and the one which I updated to was like 800 giga byte. I've noticed my scrolling is awfully slow!! Btw the old version that come out the phone was I think 12.0.3 or something, It was from April.. anyways how much the update size for you mate?
