I'm gonna get Kane early. Pace means he'll be fodder price, but he'll have the best shooting of any gold card with finesse plus and 93 shot. Good passing and pace around him and he'll score for fun

This system is basically taken from PES which has had player roles instead of individual instructions.

I think the fifa role meta will mirror that of now eFootball. So rn in eFootball, the meta roles for each position are:

Goalkeeper - Whatever
RB - Attacking Fulback
CB - Destroyer (Stopper)
CB - Build Up (Ball Playing)
LB - Defensive Fullback
DM - Anchorman (Hold Mid)
CM - Box-To-Box
CAM - Creative Playmaker/Hole Player
Left Wing - Creative Playmaker
Right Wing - Prolific Winger (Inside Winger)
Striker - Fox in the Box/Goal Poacher

I think FIFA teams will be built out in a similar way to eFootball tran teams, just using the equivalent roles in EAFC.

I think it’s been in the game for a few years but they’ve just been testing it in a way, you’ve really cleared these roles up for me and they’re so noticeable now when you try them with specific players, they make those runs then they don’t, they cut inside then they don’t etc.

Falseback is good on 5 back, allows you to get the midfielders forward or using them on half winger

Omg I just had a thought about this. I think this was already in the game, when I run a formation 1 player will behave COMPLETELY different than another. In a 4321 I would find my Center mid hugging the touch line and I guarantee you they had false winger or one of these coded in them. Glad EA made this transparent so we know now.

How do you give attacking instructions to a CDM with the new role system?
Say in a 4222 I want one of my CDMs to be more attacking and go forward a bit, would that be possible?

I think the wide playmaker ++ role is gonna be broken, especially with someone who has whipped pass+. If you have a tall physical striker, it could work quite well for those early crosses

I dont know if kane is an advanced forward for me he is a deep lying playmaker. I think they could have added even more player roles. The shadow striker - inside forward - target man/false 9 will be op roles together

what i am going to use i think in ea fc is 2x cb defender lb falseback rb winger or fullback right cm is half winger right cm is going to be box to box cam shadow striker lw inside forward rw wide playmaker

Kane being advanced forward++ makes no sense at all considering it’s all about running in behind the defence 🧐

With half winger is there any way to make them so that they play that role on the right, because i have it on my cam and he always goes to the left never on the right

Idk why ea gave hernandez a falseback ++ role they should've given him a wingback++ role given the pace and playstyle he has.... This shows that ea doesn't watch games
