I bought the blu-ray many years ago, and only just cracked it open a few hours ago.

Thoroughly enjoyable coming of age story.

Fantastic filmmaking as well, which is always appreciated.

Great cast and a wonderfully sensitive screenplay. Special shoutout to TYE SHERIDAN who plays the young teen "Ellis", he does a FANTASTIC job !

It very much felt like a real world and real people that we just came up upon.

For me, It has elements of 'the 400 Blows" and "Stand By Me" but it definitely stands on its own.

Kudos to all involved !

Jeff Nichols' work is definitely worth following, I forgot that I really loved 'Take Shelter" as well. It's nice to see writer/directors of this calibre are still alive and well in the USA !

This movie is amazing. One of my favorites this year. This trailer makes it looks like this crazy thriller at the end but it has more heart and realism in it than any movie I've seen in a long time. A great coming of age film. It really makes you think about all the things you see and go through as a kid and how you have evolved growing up. If you love movies that really mean something, go see this! Acting was incredible too, especially from the young lead actor.

It’s a great movie. I watched it a long time ago and loved it. Everyone did a great job doing their roles. If you want to watch it I say, go ahead and it’ll stick with you for a couple of days. 😊

OMG This is a movie where every character in it is depressed and ready to kill themselves. Ughhh, just depressing and useless, totally unrealistic socially flawed characters born yesterday
