If LIV tour is Just entertainment why have the last 5 DP tournaments all been won by LIV golfers. With Rahm moving to LIV they now have the most players with recent major wins. The PGA tour is trying to match the things LIV added and the PIF money is so obviously a way to pay PGA players not to go to LIV. If you watch a LIV tournament it’s great

Norman isnt Chairman either, Rumyyan is listed in Livv as its CEO, Chairman & Commissioner... Normans name isnt in the company, he makes no approvals or transactions. Also USPGAT has had other finance backing offers since June and may not choose PIF for the $$.

They shouldn't get points great decision...LIV golf is closer to a skins match...same players (only 48 not 75)...no cut...everyone cashes in no matter how poor you play...ridiculous, the right decision...

How can you have players like Mickelson and others. "guaranteed" a spot to play regardless of their performance and as for LIV...only 48 players who constantly play against each other day in day out and NO cut, its crazy..and they are surprised they didn't get accepted for OWGR recognition..LOL

If you have design your league to be an interesting golf showcase you should not be surprised if you do not get ranking points for that. Ryder Cup, certain invitational tournaments and most other closed entry golf tournaments also do not command world ranking points. No brainer IMO. It is, however, a bummer that we will see less and less of their players in tournaments over here. In the end they chose the money over the competition and who can blame them with that kind of money.

OWGR is correct. LIV is pure entertainment golf were every other golf brand is a structured individual performance based on 72 holes of golf. Just count your money as you lick you self made wounds.
