This man wrote a song called "Computer Love" before online dating was even a thing. He was a visionary.

I had the pleasure to meet Roger in Tucson Az in about 1992. I was a freshman in high school and stood in line for 3 hours to get a autographed poster before his concert. When I told him the poster was for my girl who was still in class while I ditched he put us both on the list to get in show for free. R.I.P. Sir

That sure is Charlie Wilson on Computer Love. I’m mad I never noticed it because he has a distinct voice.

I interviewed Roger on my radio show in the 80's, he did "computer love" live on the air, was so cool, I was blown away with his talent, and always had time for his fans. Nobody had a concert like him, amazing. RIP

I recall seeing this story on UnSung. It was truly sad to know Roger's own brother caused his demise. Roger and Zapp was my shit back in the day. I still listen to his/their music to this day. Roger was dope as hell on the voice box.

Shirley Murdock had to sing a sidechick anthem in order to get recognition when she really wanted to be a gospel singer. The music industry is like a bad friend you try to avoid.

If you are a Daytonian who was alive when Roger and Larry died, you were heartbroken when this went down. My big, bad, rough and tough brother called me with the news that day. He was dazed, confused and in tears. R.I.P., brothers. Dayton will always love you. WESTSIDE forever!

When I was a kid I grew up right behind Troutman Studio Labs. Studio C. I would see Roger & his brothers go In & out the recording studio. Zapp gave me pride to be from Dayton. So many greats came out of Ohio.

We haven't forgotten you Roger. And Lord knows having that (many) siblings with so many different personalities can be something else growing up in a big family myself. But when Larry killed his little brother, yes you might as well take your own life. You can't do business with family all the time. They're buried right next to each other. Idk what happened that day but it's sad. My favorite album he produced the whole album Shirley Murdock's A WOMAN'S POINT OF VIEW - 1988.

This sounded improvised. I've never seen that before. Most documentaries on YouTube are heavily scripted but this is almost conversational and unique. I dig it.
