One good thing about Power Rangers going on hiatus is I'm not dealing with THIS as much anymore

Hasbruh always ships 2 months before their ETA which is why I dont really bother Pre-Ordering anymore

Oh i feel this. This exact thing happened to me right as i about to go out of town for the weekend, happened the week of 7/20. drained all of my travel funds, but thank fully i was able to sell some things at the last minute and call in some favors to keep the trip doable

I think the issue stems from the pandemic and the projection adjustments they made based on that. Now that their factories are moving faster again, they haven't adjusted yet to that schedule, or maybe the factories are just giving them conservative pandemic-era estimates.

So we all remember the shipping delays in and around 2021, some of which were understandable. Eventually toy companies set ship dates out super far in advance because they genuinely did not know when things would move. But I think this problem stems from the fact that once shipping products around the world returned to normal post-2020, Hasbro never really fixed their estimated delivery dates. I don't think they're straight up guessing anymore. But like you alluded to, someone with decision making power clearly doesn't care enough to fully dial things back in. I also fully agree with your end sentiment. I mostly collect Hasbro's lines, so if/when they can't provide accurate ship dates that leads me to cancel pre-orders for their other products. That's an especially awful game to have to play when Hasbro has explicitly stated they've reduced production numbers across the board.

Yeah, they're about to kill my online store with their early releases. They just killed my budget with a ton of releases for November-Dec-January '25....that are shipping to me NOW! Thanks, Hasbro....

This is why I don't do pre-orders and just wait for stuff to show up in stores. Sure it means having to wait a while, but it's worth it just to not have to deal with pre-order shenanigans. Good video!

Thats another thing they dont tell us is whats on its way. They just surprise us all. With a random drop of figures And if you know you know if you dont then you get left in the dust. Its weird.

Just my thoughts about the preordering and budgetting for my bying habits . As a rule, all the preorders I make will have a total amount spend ( alotted ) that is kept seperate of the budget for purchases that happen at random. That way if everything for the next 6 months of preorders come in at once, it doesn't hurt the budget to spend that month . If you could not afford that you should stop preordering or use preordering where you pay the amount at that time and that way you have your budget better managed.

Hasbro, PLEASE fix your PR team ....this is getting out of hand

I had to largely stop preordering with Hasbro because I had WAAAY too many times where I'd have a PO for something from Bandai or some other company that actually runs a tight release schedule ending up clashing with my Hasbro PO that wasn't supposed to be due for another 1-2 months completely screwing my budgeting.

The solution is for us all to get together and confront them. One person cant do it. It has to be a lot of folks.

that’s why I order on bbts for most of hasbros stuff. It usually comes around the time I want them to when it comes to legends

My theory is by the time they announce these figures they are already on ship from china . By doing these random dumps they lose money because i have a budget too and there are some things i want more than others, which leads to me cancelling a lot of stuff i would have bought if it came when i thought it was . IAnd if i cancel i probably wont even get it . I cant afford a bunch of stuff all at once . Even amazon is giving me a lot of shipping updates when they are usually on time . Just another reason im getting out of this hobby . Its all about bleeding the collector dry now .

Hasbro, for the most part always ships 2 months ahead of release date. That's pretty much common knowledge. Unfortunately, some things actually ship near or after the actual ship date. Not everything needs preordered so I only pre-order stuff I think I'll miss out on if I don't preorder.
Bottom line, if you don't have the $ in your account, don't order it until you do and keep the $ in your account until it ships.
