1:12:55 That's why Anglicans say "Here ends the lesson." rather than "The Word of the Lord." when they read the apocrypha sometimes in their lectionary.

The man who is credited with starting Pastor Appreciation Day (in 1992) was a friend of mine here in Williamsport, PA (Jerry Frear, Jr.). He tragically died after a practice run for a marathon in April, 2023 at 54. He vigorously lobbied for recognition of a special pastor recognition day through government and parachurch ministries, and eventually it caught on. In later years I know he was disappointed that it became more commercialized. Your suggestion of a handwritten note of appreciation and encouragement goes to the main idea he had for the day.

For the millinium question, I HIGHLY recommend everyone read The Meaning Of The Millennium. The author took one person from the four camps (classic premil, Dipsy, post mill, and Amill), have them each write a chapter on their view points, and, the best part, after their chapter, the other three would respond to said chapter. It is an amazing set up for the book and helped me start going towards Amill (which I am now).

Also, no mention of Voddie for the Amill side?

I would recommend Sam Storms a case for amillenialism, I thought it was much better than Riddlebargers. Storms advocates for a partial preterist view and has a (imo) proper view of Israel. If you want a non preterist, amil view, I'd recommend Sam Waldrons books/sermons. Let us also not forget the doctor, Martyn lloyd Jones! He was an amil also, albeit not a preterist and very pessimistic, but it was him and Voddie that drew me to the amil camp. Now I'm somewhere in between amil and postmil. Optimistic Amil perhaps, but I do prefer the term postmil as I believe Christ will return post(after) the millennium(which I take as now).

How is it determined what types of commercials are played during your YouTube video and the duration and the frequency with which they pop up? I often skip through them, but I know that means you don't get any ad revenue for them. But I really dislike the Temu ads especially the sexually suggestive ones that flood my Twitter & Facebook feeds.

The Dr. James White cheese burger story and sideling up beforehand is great brother @YourCalvinist hahahaha!

BTW: I just uploaded - Before the Throne of God Above, one of my favorite hymns with modernized music - just mentioning it since you mentioned worship at church.

Be edified and praise the LORD!!
