Saying Gavin Newsom is a young guy really does a lot to demonstrate how old our political class is. I've never seen a "young" man with so much gray hair before.

And just think how bad Harris lost in the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries.

Kamala should choose Biden as her vice president.

One thing I noticed is that the liberal news outlets aren't pushing the idea of her becoming the first female president at all. I guess they realized how goofy it looked when Hillary did that. So it will be interesting how they run this campaign and what their messaging is like.

The issue with the black vote is her record with how she acted as an attorney; you know keeping people in jail even after they were proven innocent

I think Joe Biden stepping down allows the Democrats to nominate someone a lot younger, which would take away the GOP's attacking angle of saying "Joe Biden is too old and senile", and instead now Dems can say "Trump is too old" (which really is ironic).

The thing I find the most odd about Joe Biden stepping down is he himself never came out and said anything about it.

Trump needs to get Kennedy to drop out. If he can get Kennedy to accept a cabinet position, drop out, and endorse Trump

You lost me in the first two minutes. The 1968 election was not a landslide for Nixon. He won by popular vote by less than 1 percentage point in what was, at that point, one of the closest elections in American history. Yes, he beat Humphrey strongly in the Electoral College, but the margin was skewed by Third Party candidate George Wallace winning 46 electoral votes, something that RFK Jr. can today only dream of. In fact, Nixon won 301 electoral votes. Not bad, not not exactly a landslide. For comparison, in the last election, Biden won 306 electoral votes, and no one called that a "landslide." Now, Reagan in 1984 - 525 to 13 -- THAT was a landslide!

Biden's brother released a weird statement saying that they are going to "enjoy whatever time we have left." - that escalated quickly ...

Kennedy gave a press conference just yesterday in front of his house after the news came out about Biden. It’s posted on AP’s YouTube channel

I found the detail about states with niche laws about candidate changes to be very interesting! It's something I wouldn't have known about as a non-American. Keep up the good work! :)
