9,000 PopSockets! I create a GIANT, DRIVABLE FIDGET TOY!

A PopSocket is so satisfying to fidget with. So I wanted to do it 9,000 times. I made a giant fidget wall before so now I want it to be portable so everyone can play with it. I've already turned my car to a giant, drivable chia pet in the past! I hope you enjoy seeing my DIY car art, kinetic sculpture come to life. After opening all 9,375 of them, of course. And then see the fidgety art installation in motion along with me flipping out and becoming completely stress free showing people on Hollywood Blvd. PopSockets are the coolest car decor and I suggest everyone put at least one phone grip on their wall and/or vehicle. Still not sure if I like the popping or the socketing better.

Thank you to PopSockets for hooking me up with 9,375 of them!

I love this! Since all that cardboard packaging got yet in the rain, you should do something paper-mâché based. Like, maybe a manikin wearing an outfit made with the plastic sticker backs.

So I have seen people blend cardboard with water put it into a mold and then press it to form a solid wood like material. It would be cool to turn the packaging into a couch or seat for your car.

If I ever make it out to L.A. I feel like I'm going to spend my entire trip looking for one of Ali's projects. This was amazing!

Hey, CEO of Popsockets, can you spare Ali's hands and send them directly from the factory next time?

Not even 30 seconds into the video and I am already excited. I have been looking forward to the next outrageous car design, and this looks so cool!
Also I love how at the beginning the pop-socket quantity is given to us in number of pounds rather than number of pop-sockets. Truly making us realize the weight of this project.

I'm beginning to realize that Ali is reponsible for all our math problems.
I'd be more than happy if she can cofirm buying 87 watermelons, 172 apples, and 55 oranges in the past.

Also thank you for putting your body and especially your hands through over 42 hours of hard work time create this amazing video.

A truly outrageous idea for the waste:
Grind up all of the cardboard into paper machè fish and then cover it in the plastic circle scales. Then you can auction it off for charity to benefit ocean cleanup!

What inquiring minds want to know is...How awful was your math and how much larger did your pop-socket wall grow?

Also, for all the blue plastic sticker-backs...I feel like based on their color, you should test their refractive properties and see if you could make a room with them hanging from strings + some cool LED/UV lights.

I'm at a complete loss what to do with that much tiny cardboard...unless there is some way to paiper mache it...and if so....build your own dinosaur bones statue like the natural history museum in DC.

Also. Your dedication to weird is outstanding and all of your fans feel empowered by your awesomeness. Thank you for being so originally you and sharing that confidence with the world :)

I’m so glad that video went viral bc 1) your art is absolutely fantastic and 2) w/o it this vid wouldn’t have been made

Your doing great and if I was sick and had a project like this I would never even open pop sockets goes to show how outrageous you are. I love your content ali it always gives me motivation to do projects I need to do.
Also you should make a paper mache sculpture of your self kinda like you did with the statue of liberty.

I have a lot of respect for Christine living with you as all your crazyness/outrageousness goes on.

Forget the pop sockets I think you secretly wanted a four wheel dragon/snake/lizard or something with scales. Brilliant idea for brilliant art from an outrageously brilliant person.

The excitement coming from everyone makes my day 😆 I would not be mad with her holding up traffic I'd probably get out of my car and hold up traffic as well

I like how Spags took the time to hide her number plate because it's not like you won't know which car is her's lol.

I've been wondering when we'd get to see your car again, and what happened to the chia!
And Happy belated Birthday! 🎉🎂🎈
And I can't believe they sent you over 9000 *individually wrapped* popsockets... But I'm sure you'll redeem that enormous amt of packaging waste by turning in into an outrageous work of art. Paper Mâché?
