SJ10 Pro New packaging and firmware -Is it Worth it?

SJCAM was nice enough to send me another SJ10 Pro to look at, and 1st thing you will notice is the new packaging and with that you also get a waterproof case and lens cap which is nice as it's easy to scratch a lens on these action cameras. New subscriber here. I don't really have an action camera, just watching bec. maybe in the future I could have one on my own.

Btw, in this review Sj10 pro old firmware is a lot better in terms of color, ratioo(wide angle). The new firmware only improve the audio, also seems the quality became similar to akaso brave 8, the natural quality is gone.

I think the Contrast Color and FOV are a noticeable improvement as well as the sound.
Still have the 5000EX Elite, SJ7Star and SJ8Pro, considering if to upgrade to the SJ10Pro for the Water Proof Body.Thanks for this good review!

I'm not finding an option to disable wide angle in SJ10 Pro. Is that option available at all?

I got the black packaging but the version i got is 0.0.7N i tried to update the firmaware from sjcam websit but its not working. And i am getting issue the cam will automatically restart then the video after the restarts will be corrupted 🤦

I actually thought EIS is a slight improvement, but narrowing the field of view. I do believe the camera is overpriced, not only considering the osmo action is $199, but you can actually get the vantop 6s for half off ($105) with a coupon code.

Hi! Do you can help me? I updated the sj10 Pro firmware from 0.0.7 to 0.0.9. The SJCam support did send the firmware to me. But it’s no possible update 0.0.9 to another new version firmware, SJCam support said. But how I update the 0.0.9 firmware to a new one? Thanks .
