In Sims 3 u can get friends off screen (in school and work), so u don't need to introduce urselves.

And the most important for me, Sims 3 animation are not over exaggerated/childish… when I first saw Sims 4 animations I just hated, it breaks my immersion and takes away all the seriousness. People like me will probably understand what I mean.

Sims 4 is lazy. I totally understand some cuts here and there, but the downgrade was obvious. Instead of huge neighborhoods (The reason of TS3 long loading screen), They could create small areas where you can go everywhere. Cars could be similar to the ones in TS2, you don't see your sim driving around but they could own a car. For me, the worst, is the lack of detail in animations. Sims do nothing, they just teleport and summon things. There are some TS3 store itens that I stopped using because of this feature and TS4 explores that to the core.

I'm thinking of buying all the expansions for Sims 3 and giving it a serious go. I could never get into Sims 4. And $150 for a complete Sims 3 is reasonable (IMO) compared to an out of this world $1-2k to get all the Sims 4 content.

The vacation world in ts3 is just soo good. I played so many hours just to finish the mission and learned all the skill needed

I play both and there are some things I am glad are NOT in the Sims 4 like no loading screens and open massive worlds. Sims 3 isn't universal/user friendly when it comes to those who cant get a heavy gaming PC and ts3 isn't even a guaranteed if your stuff will even be saved if it decides to randomly crash on you.

The more expansive world DOES make the game feel far more alive and complex though and my gods create a style is so nice (sometimes though I hate I have the option bc them I spend more time making everything match 😅). Cars I never cared for. I only use them to show if a family/sim is rly wealthy. I DO love how you can bounce world to world on ts4 just base game instead of needing mods like NRaas :/
