Evgeniya Kanaeva is the only individual rhythmic gymnast in history to win two Olympic all-around gold medals. At the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games, Kanaeva won Olympic gold for the first time finishing with 3.75 points ahead of silver medallist Inna Zhukova. The best gymnast of all time, kanaeva is a legend that will hardly be beat and if that happens it will take a long time. Two-time Olympic champion, three-time world champion and five times European champion in the general competition. Considered the most successful gymnast in the history of the sport, due to the amount of gold medals won in official competitions of the International Gymnastics Federation, Kanaeva holds a total of eighteen medals in World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, being seventeen gold and one silver.

Kanaeva was the first athlete in the sport to win all possible gold medals in a single edition of a World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship and the first to win the three gold medals in the general individual contest of an Olympic cycle. Throughout his career, he won a total of 78 gold medals, only in international competitions.
And she is the only one to achieve two perfect notes, in the hoop.

Сегодня я поняла, что мне просто "вдолбили" в голову, что Кабаева непревзойденная звезда российской художественной гимнастики.
После просмотра этих выступлений, я больше не готова принимать это утверждение.
Я поражена, восхищена, заворожена, окутана чарами выступлений Евгении. Такого владение лентой вообще не видела. Сколько гиациозности, легкости, артистизма, проникновенности в каждом движении!!! А какая музыка подобрана для каждой программы - шедевры ! Блестяще, браво!
