It's funny how you can sort of hear Ray Charles in all these great hits by Don Gibson. Maybe Ray sensed they were on the same wavelength when he covered "I Can't Stop Loving You."

These were two of the Masters. Hear Jack Pruitt playing that was one of the best in Nashville. I saw him play with Marty in Memphis once. There was no better a song writer and singer than Don Gibson....he, like Marty, made a big splash in pop music as well as country.
