TradingView Moderator Tip: Using TradingView and TradeStation to buy stocks.

First time using Trading View and the new Trade Station integration.

I haven't tried this before and couldn't find any other videos so figured I may as well make and share one. I signed up for an account with Trade Station which will allow me to trade US stocks directly within Trading View. This is the first time I have tried it so I am guessing my way through it, but seems VERY cool so far. Trading View is by far my favourite charting / trading platform so looking forward to seeing how this goes.

I like that I can set stop loss and take profit orders at the same time. Good set and forget solution.

As always this video is meant to be EDUCATIONAL about how to use some of the really cool TradingView tools. Don't worry too much about any stocks that might be mentioned in the video. They are just examples. By the time you watch this video circumstances will have changed and totally different stocks might appear - or none at all. The goal for you is to find your own path. Work out what criteria is important to you, and have fun with it. Experiment. Add different values. Add different filters. Be stricter. Be looser. Do what makes sense for you. Think of it as a fun way to help spot stocks you might be interested in and can add to your watch list and perform further research on.

Isn't in there the small buy and sell mark with the prices in it? Do you actually have to lose time to make stoploss and sell? Can't you do it like in forex? Buy on specific point and sell just buy clicking on the x whenever you want?

Hey I’m having an issue with using TradeStation on tradingview, hoping you could help me. It tells me that it’s showing delayed price to contact my broker. I mssged TradeStation and they told me I must have above 2000$ for it to fix the problem

Hi Angus. Is it possible to trade the ASX using Tradingview as an execution platform? If so, what would the set up process be for this?

on the same path as you my friend, wanted to try tradestation specifically as they seem to be the only one currently to support bracket orders from tradingview i.e. entry price, stop loss and take profit. BTW did you know you can use the Long Position and Short Position tools to set up your target and stop loss, then right click and create a limit order?

Whant abouth the spreads? with Tradingview? I suppose you have exactly the same spreads that using Tradestation platform. In the video I see a 0, 27 spread, that is so much. Another question. Are you able to see the timeframes lpwer than 1 hour even having the Tradingview free version? I have read in Tradingview someone saying that is not possible and I would like to confirm it. Thnaks in advance.

Hi Angus, good vid mate, i use TC2000 for all my scans, charting, watchlists and tech analysis, and paper trading with Trading view atm. I am finding Stake dont have all the US stocks i could trade so looks like i will do trades on Stake that they have, and if not will be using Tradestation as the other broker until i find a happy medium and switch to just one.

Hello and thank you for the video and the dedication.
May i ask you something: I'm from European Union country (Bulgaria) and i want to buy some stocks of a small company, because i have some information about it's development and i found that only Interactive brokers has the shares of this small company.
But the process of opening an account in Interactive brokers from my country tooks a lot of time waiting for approval and i read that in Tradestation Gloval it takes 1-2 weeks.
So, my question is: Can i open an account on TSG without having an account on interactive brokers?
And the most important, can i buy and sell stocks on TSG without installing for example trading view?
On Interactive brokers it is very easy to buy and sell stocks on their website.
How it is on TSG: trough the website and through the TSG platform?
