Making the Queen's Favorite Dessert

The amount of chocolate in this dessert is enough to put me in the grave ...

Ingredients:

125g unsalted butter (softened), caster sugar, and dark chocolate (chopped)
250g Rich Tea biscuits (broken up into small pieces)
125g heavy cream and more dark chocolate (chopped)

Recipe:
* Mix your butter and caster sugar together until light and fluffy
* Add in your melted dark chocolate and the biscuits and mix everything together
* Put it into your cake pan and let it chill in the fridge for 1 hour
* Bring the heavy cream to a simmer and pour it over the rest of thedark chocolate, then mix until combined
* Spread the chocolate ganache around the cake and top with chocolate shavings
* Let cool at room temperature and enjoy!

This dessert is also very popular in Turkey too, its actually considered as one of the easiest cakes to make.. its called "Mozaik Cake" because the insides look like mosaic when you cut it 👍

It's actually a pretty common dessert in Europe, in Greece we call it κορμός (kormos) that means tree log😂

They are very commonly made as birthday cakes for people with nut or egg allergies in ireland and we call it simply chocolate biscuit cake

In my country this is considered the "lazy cake". This is what you make when you know you have guests coming in less than an hour.
I make this once a week, the kids love it, and it is so easy and convenient and doesn't make a mess out of the kitchen.

I’m shocked that these are not a common munchies in America they sell that everywhere in Europe (at least where I’m from anyways), it’s really good and it’s one of my favorite things, they usually sell these as individual slices in cafes. Also they usually don’t have that much cookies in it and don’t have that shape or the chocolate sparkled on top

We make this in Greece very often, it's called "Kormos" or Tree trunk for English, yes it's really delicious and put it also in the freezer and you will remember me

In Lithuania we call it "Tinginys" it mean sloth and lazy at the same time 😂 Anw everyone loves it here and its very popular!
