I don't know how I never noticed this but like there's the homeless child, and the orphanage children, and a bunch of generally scrappy looking ones but the animator also included a child from a seemingly perfect home from what little we see. I actually appreciate that because it's not always obvious that a child is abused, neglected, or abandoned. Sometimes that have everything but love and that's still trauma, that's still harm. I love how much thought was out into this

What's really sad is in the orphanage, only three ponies get up and can hear the music, that means only they were being abused there, and no one else, as Luna's song can only be heard by those suffering

If it weren’t for her and the mlp fan base, I think I’d have given up…
But she reminds me of the happy times I’ve had watching the show when I was a kid and that, no matter what life throws at me, I do deserve be happy, and I’ll always be grateful for that…

The animation is so good, for the longest time as a kid I thought that it was the real MLP not just fan made

I saw this back when I was around 11 or 12 and now at 19 I'm still trying to decide if Luna was taking the children to a sort of paradise away from their horrible lives, or if it's some kind of metaphor for sleeping and finding joy in dreams when your daily life is difficult.

My friend showed this to me during a sleepover when we were kids. It made Princess Luna be my favorite character. I can’t believe it’s been so long. We lost touch but wherever she is, I hope she’s doing well now.
