I must admit that I love this series and the work that you've put into it, and then, the knowledge gleaned therein. Looking at the map, where the bays were formed and the proposed places the ejecta which might have formed them came from, I was struck by a sudden thought; might any of this have to do with those 24 hours that decimated Peshtigo, Chicago, and that area of Michigan between those locations and the southern end of Lake Huron that were destroyed by a column of "hurricane fire", that had descended up in those vicinities? The localities seem to line up, though the dates of the bay creations is somewhat cloudy.

I think the Glass Fields that were created from the secondary Impacts in Africa should be observed. Shock glass from the steam created when Phaethon landed in Red Sea beside Ethiopia..
