Watching this movie as a kid gave me nightmares for weeks. Watching again after so many years tough, I could understand the greater meaning Shyamalan wantes us to get. There are no coincidences.

In the history of movie soundtracks, none have totally twisted me as a viewer (apart from John Williams in Jaws) quite like this one. Those last 10 minutes or so gripped me like no other film in all the hundreds I have watched. I still remember watching it to this very day.

I'm almost surprised this score is, well, one score. The fact that the flashback isn't its own score somehow makes this a much more connected and complete piece - it fully encaptures every emotion you could feel from the phrase "hands of fate." The tender, the terrifying, and the triumphant - all in one track.
Also 3:30 to the end always gave me such intense feelings as a child.
