But today I wanna focus on the biggest & most recent of the batch, Adventure Time: Pirates Of The Enchiridion. It's an action adventure RPG kinda thing that released back in 2018, when Adventure Time was only a couple months away from ending. That's a lot to live up to! Let's see if it can deliver!

I think it would be really cool if they made a Breath of the Wild/Skyrim style Adventure Time game. Just explore Ooo and do what you want. Also everything makes sense when you learn this game came out 2 months before the finale.

I feel like The Land of Ooo would be the perfect setting for a Skyrim-like open-world RPG.

I 100% the game. The kraken is an optional sidequest, you are supposed to whittle his health down with cannonballs, and when you do it is revealed he was never evil at all. Something to do with a birthday party or something, I don't remember exactly. And the Enchiridion pages are rewards from optional sidequests that unlock new abilities in battle.
Also I played the switch version as well and it was just as jank as your experience. I even accidentally reset the whole fire kingdom like you did lmao

It looks like there was a late stage story shuffle, soo very late stage that they couldn't fix the dialogue.
Maybe they were supposed to go to the fire kingdom route first, see that fern is the antagonist, then go talk to ice king to learn about the crown (while collecting the pages which didn't get added due to time probably), then save bubblegum, then talk to ice king again about the enchiridion, and then the final showdown happens.
Don't know why any exec would force a change like that, no dev would do it ever.

“Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know” was such a fun game with my siblings way back and the fact that the ending of it actually ended up being canon way later in the show was insane for my young mind 🤯

Fun fact: there is a adventure time game that is technically a collab with a game series called Bloons tower defense. It’s a tower defense where you pop balloons, balloons of metal, and blimps with monkeys that use things like darts, boomerangs, and snipers. The game is a little different to the regular game series but it’s still the normal. Also unlike the normal games you can only place a tower once (for most characters like Finn, Jake, and PB). I would recommend it

I played this on Xbox, and it was just as buggy. I never finished it, but it looks like I didn't miss much. I seriously had no idea the story was so short 😅
That said, I hope that doesn't stop Finn and Jake from having more appearances in video games. 😊

I played Pirates of the Enchiridion, and I didn’t like it. It went too slow, and I also got bored quickly.
Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom, though… it’s AMAZING!
Also, by “the game goes really slow” I mean the loading screen takes to long to… well, load.
I haven’t played the game in a year.

I played this game all the way through, and I loved it. Yeah it was pointless, but it was the perfect brainless thing to do in the summer while riding that adventure time nostalgia high and chatting with friends. Used it more like a fidget toy but is still a great memory for me.

I actually played this game back when it came out, and I remember still enjoying the overworld so much more than the actual gameplay. It was just fun to walk around in even a very flooded Oo, and I sometimes feel like booting it back up just to do that. I wish they'd make another, more competent adventure time game in this style with more time for the team to polish it up.

I played Epic Quest on Steam back in 2014, what I remember is that it was actually pretty fun! It's kind of like Toejam & Earl but with RPG elements. You walk around set levels, actively taking out enemies with different abilities and Finn's sword, etc. Also you can find presents scattered around that have different effects like TJ&E, all while looking for Video Game artifacts to get BMO back. I got to the first boss who's the witch that turned Jake's bottom half into a man-baby, and it was stupid difficult so I gave up hahah

Well it's not THAT weird. Even in the show, after thei enchiridion was destroyed, they nabbed the Farmworld Enchiridion, and used it several times I think. So it's not as weird as you make it sojnd

"Immortal Fenyx Rising" As an immortal, I can confirm I do indeed rise. The same way our capital Pyongyang rose like a phoenix from the ashes of the war. My grandpa had to rebuild everything due to US bombing raids over our country.
