I have to say one name here, which is forgotten in the comments. Jack Weston. He is such a great, great actor. A skilled comedian with all the talent to do a more serious role and all in between.

Great comic actor, by the way. Was, for years, on "The Bob Newhart Show." Thanks for commenting!

I have Ed McBain's Cop Hater because I like police procedurals. Cool that this movie was set in Boston.

I love Raquel Welch. Apparently her and Burt Reynolds ( who i loved too) didnt even talk on set. Not sure on the full story. I know they were in another movie called 100 Rifles . Never knew they didnt get along. Anyhoo, this movie was ok. Nothing special. But thanks for the Trailer. I subscribed .

I remember as a kid when this advertised on posters and then ofc later up on the marquis at our one local "one-horse town" theater, long gone now, and thinking how funny it was that bombshell Raquel Welch was comin' as "the FUZZ!" back when that really was a common slang word for the police, lol! Of course I knew who she and Burt Reynolds were, but back then didn't really know about Tom Skerritt too much. Of course nowadays after Tom has done and been in so many movies and roles I recognize him immediately... But, ofc I didn't rememb er him ever having the long 70's haircut he does in this!!! He actually looks pretty freakin' foxy with that lol! That was a very cool style then! I do remember him with the beard in Alien about 10 years later on though. :)

I recall being on an Orange line train when they were filming in City sq, where the police station was located. Boy I miss that Orange line and the old Sullivan sq station.I always though a train would fall off the tracks they would lean pretty bad on the curves.

Doesn't look nearly as zany as the cover art.
