You forgot to mention the 4 stops of IS with the 24-70 vs the 2 stops of IS with the version I of the 24-105 f4 L. I bought the lens a couple of weeks ago to use with my 5Ds and the IS is a joy to use with hand held images, much better than my 24-105.

Please help, i couldn't move the switch for lock and macro. Its somehow stuck in the middle. Is there a way to move this? Thanks in advance!

Of course the object will be very close. That is physics regardless of the lens design. If you ever used Canon MPE 65mm you will find the macro mode on 24-75mm is actually much forgivable.

Hello. nice review. Im thinking to sell this lens against the Canon Ef 35/2 is usm which i ithink has better optical performance and its even lighter. What's your opinion please ? Thx
