GFL Story Time 8-7-24

In this week's Green Free Library Story Time video, we talk about whales. After our welcome song and calendar time, we learn some facts about these creatures that live in the ocean. We also read a poem about them.

Books on whales include, "How Long is a Whale?" a nonfiction title written by Alison Limentani, fiction books "If You Want to See a Whale" written by Julie Fogliano, "Maybe a Whale" written by Kristen Pendreigh, "I'm the Biggest Thing in the Ocean" written by Kevin Sherry, "Under the Sea" written by Anna Milbourne, and "Show Us Where You Live Humpback" written by Beryl Young.

For our art project we make a whale using an empty paper towel roll, paint, construction paper, glue, scissors, a marker, and a stapler.
