I'm a country boy in Michigan. Last year I picked up a Pyrenees on the side of the road.
He'd been down in the wet mud and was filthy. He was happy to hop up in the truck and I started to try and find the owner, going from farm to farm.
I ended up taking him to my home and found a friend to post the find on Facebook.
An hour later he was back with the owner and they didn't have to bail him out of the pound. That's the only time I found a use for Facebook.

Mine would walk our 52 acre property out of instinct. He was kind of a prick and would lure other dogs onto our property just to fight them. No idea how he new our property line or where he learned this behavior.

my neighbor's ancient arthritic Pyrenees dog limps over to my house and barks all night under my window. it makes me feel safe because he is keeping the bears away

He's beautiful. The Great Pyrenees is my favorite breed. They're good with kids, pets, and livestock.

Mine would come back looking just like that. In a few hours, they would be white and fluffy again. No bath was needed.

This is so like my GP. Good thing they clean up fairly easy actually. Mine loves the nasty pond water but scared of the swimming pool. 😅😅

I walk/puppy-sit my friend's Pyrenees! One day this little boy (maybe 4 or 5 yrs old) ran up to us during one of our walks and asks with wide eyes, "Can I pet the baby polar bear?!?" (my answer of course was yes) 😂❤😂

Lol everytime i want to take my husksneese out he never fails to cancel walk day being filthy where he finds mud in the summer idk but if he can find oil ill be happy 😂
