Porsche Driving Experience: 911 GT3 | PEC Atlanta

We visited the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta and spent 90 minutes behind the wheel of a 500hp 911 GT3.

The PEC driving experiences focus first and foremost on track time. After just a few minutes getting oriented to the vehicle and discussing my prior experience and objectives, we hit the track to take on a driving dynamics area for slaloms and launches, wet drift circle, kick plate reaction exercise, low-friction handling circuit, and 1-mile high-speed handling circuit.

Due to COVID-19 safety measures at the time, I had the unique experience of driving alone in the car while my instructor coached via radio in a lead-follow setup. Unfortunately, no cameras are allowed in the cars themselves - so footage is from the viewing patio above the track.
