Edit: oml i posted this ages ago ty for all the replies and likes I'm in year 10 now and its okay just very stressfull year 8 was pretty easy compared to this i start year 11 in September and its all going by so quick!!!
Edit: im in year 11 now 3 months left!! Carnt belive time flies by so fast.. If your starting high school or are in it make as many memories as you can take photos videos because you will regret it trust me i regret it so bad being the shy kid not talking to anyone just be yourself and the memories will follow from there. Finally if your in year 9 or 10 start revising i regret that i only just started and the stress is real i never thought it would be as stressful as people said it to be and now its always late nights so much anxiety always feeling not good enough so please start now!!

Hits different when you’ve just finished year 11, I miss primary, I miss school, not the lack of friends and the toxic nature of high school especially, but I miss being a kid, when life was simple, no stress, no anxiety’s, we’d play until the sun came down, wake up at the crack of dawn, this song has made me so nostalgic, I miss this.

As a person in year 7 and moving into year 8 in a months time. Re-listening to this makes you realise just how much Primary School means to someone. The friends that I made always stood by my side. I don’t have nearly as many in secondary school as I’m beginning to be myself and people see me as weird. Now here and in secondary, listening to this again gives me nostalgia and I keep coming back to it. My class sand this song at my leavers assembly and believe me when I say everyone cried. The lyrics had to be changed to fit out school. Being in this position where you realise just how far you’ve come and everyone you met with the memories makes you feel a way that I can’t describe. If you’re in year 6 and moving up, spend your time wisely and cherish what you have because it will all change in secondary. The expectation of the quick transition is major and a hard journey, make sure to never forget who helped you get as far as you have. 💗😭😭😭💗

i just started year 7 on the 6th, my SAD got worse, my head teacher is in my bad books, and i cried when my mum showed me an edit she spent 1 hour on, even with all the moving schools, i cried when leaving year 6. Cherish your times at primary school if your still there <3

Its only 3 weeks till i leave and 2 weeks ago i was saying "omg i want to leave" now i've just realised how much fun i had and all my friends have stuck with me since year 1 and there the best friends i've ever had.
Anyone in year 5 or 4 dont wish it away its so fun.

As I’m going to the age of graduating from collage, I still remember me being a lead singer of this beloved song in my heart! This was my year 6 graduation song. Being real honest here, im just tearing up remembering thing song. Listening to this is how you realise you can never go back to the primary days. Finally getting into year 6 felt like a dream come true, You were the oldest of the school and it felt like heaven (for most of us).
