As I catalyst main I know it's more effective I just don't do it because I'm usually too caught up in the moment and more worried about making sure all the other doors are secure and what not, tho the diagonal one is a great pointer I'll try and keep in mind thx 👍

Just depends of your locking down a building then hide the ball to the side if you want someone off a door throw it like shown here. It's pretty versatile.

They do it horizontally because when they run in, they step on it. Vertically you can see it from the outside plus you can walk around it. Passive ability on 2 doors and the other 2 place traps

The biggest mistake of this video is specifying "horizontally" instead of "perpendicular to the doorway".
All of her tacticals are horizontal.

make sure to offset it if you try to block it so they cant shoot it when the door is open and you can block it like rampart

I think if you put in a sideways input the spikes will come out sideways. That way you don’t have to pivot around you can just throw😊
