My granny is a major colorist. She’s obsessed with light skin and non 4C hair. My grandfather was very dark skinned that what makes it even more hilarious 😂.

This is true. My siblings and I are mixed. My brother is a light skinned multi time criminal whose on house arrest at my dads house. He just got out of a 9 year bid in 2021. He got locked up 3-4 times before that, been locked up since he was 18. He has different black women come to the house (our dads house) to spend the night. They bring him food and donuts… all because of his looks.

Every single one of the black women that were especially obsessed with my older male cousin were dark skinned women. He is very light, with a straighter nose and longer face, like all of us on my mother’s side (LA creoles). I’ve always noticed this phenomenon, which is why I almost never take people who claim lightskin men are soft seriously. They’re not struggling to get women to want them.

My jaw dropped when I saw that first video on TikTok for the first time just two days ago! Exotical talking points are starting to get talked about more and it’s about time. I have learned to avoid my own ethnic group, mostly when it comes to women, and that’s not something I learned through positive or deserved experiences. Just sick of being villainized for being the preference when I spent my entire youth as the ugly chick! 😂

This woman is telling the truth. My mono racial unambiguous black mother told me that she had children with my mixed race father because she wanted pretty children she didn't want her children to be ugly like her.

Spot on! Both my biracial, light-skinned brothers constantly get worshipped when they are around UABW. One of my brothers has a terrible personality(Narcissist), yet I never understood how so many UABW would line up to date him and ask to have children with him(which he never did)

6:36 hit the nail on the head! Anyone who is desperate for validation is are easy to manipulate. When people see that you are insecure and have a low self esteem, it makes you an easy target for exploitation.

I dont even consider myself light skin and I always tell this story of how i have mainly heard colorist comments from women, especially my fathers wife. She straight up said she chose him because he’s light skin and she didn’t want her kids coming out her color. Her family is from Barbados but she was born here.
