Anyone who was alive when these two were together and making records should know what a good thing they had when they had it. Born in 1980, shortly after Mary Ford passed away, I missed out on that good fortune by default.

Just picked up a booklet of old 45s and just randomly picked a track to search and I'm so glad I picked this gem up. Can't wait to see what else I got.

I'm originally from Boston, but we lived in the Chicago burbs for 12 years. Every summer we would go back to New England for vacation. When we hit Ohio, we'd start searching the radio stations for Les Paul & Mary Ford. I was the radio tuner & keeper-awaker while Dad drove That was an annual event for me from age 4 to age 16. This song brings back so many happy memories! Especially now that Dad's gone, it makes me miss him sooo much!

Unbelievable that in two years only 3000 views...who hasn't heard of Les Paul? Five thousand years from now, his name will be known! But I also like Justin Bieber, whose every video, I am sure, has numerous "likes". Thank you so much for posting. My father was in the juke box business in the late 40's and early 50's, with myself playing with the gaily colored 45's as if they were Lego's. We had thousands in various places around our home. This, and the various remixes thereof (it was, I believe, on of the first pop song to have remixes published) played the part in my life that nursery rhymes played in the lives of my friends. Hey, this number, with its backup meows, Bill Haley and the Comets' "Ten Little Indians", and a juke box full of others were perfect for a three year old who couldn't wait to get his hands on one of them Les Paul guitars so I could make it meow.

So that's where the T-Shirt brand Le Tigré got it's commercial jingle. That was very popular in the 80's.
