World of Tanks: IS-3 Weak Spots

* This video is designed to help newcomers and people who want to learn where to shoot enemy tanks for a better chance of damage. This does not mean that every shot will penetrate or do damage other factors still matter like how big YOUR gun is. I hope this helps and remember to like, comment, and subscribe.

Blue = Drive
Orange = Crew
Red = Engine
Purple = Weak Armor
Aquamarine = Weak Armor (Penetration is harder)

Hi! I really like your videos, its good that someone took this task for himself :) If you want to upgrade your channel, you could add more commentary and tips on how to fight each of the tanks you show. You could go through other weaknesses and touch a little on how to engage with lower tier or higher tier. Cheers and keep it up!

There is an ammo rack which is quite easy to hit. Centrally located on the side, just under the turret.

from the sides or rear but probably not frontally. that gun is really common on higher tier russian mediums as well as the 122's on the IS and KV-3 which handle basically the same way, so you should probably get used to using it.

Good video. One thing I wonder about is now we know where the weak armor is why would we want to hit  the driver area, gunner area, engine and the like? Should one use HE shells if firing at those areas since I probably wouldn't pen with a "standard Tier 7 or 8 Heavy (T29)?

One question: could you make a video how to pen the kv3 and/or some lower levels like5-7 because im just not there where you are and i would like to pen a kv3 or so^^

Lol I wonder why the Huge side Fuel Tank and Ammorack is not listed as the weakspot? Being covered by Spaced Armour?

Cant understand why WG allows some of these mods. Even tho they're only visible up close, I still think it breaks the immersion of the game. If people want to know weak spots of a tank, they watch youtube vids, and remember what they have learned.

Ammo rack is not shown cause it would cover all the tank lol.... I have IS3 for a few days now and got racked all the until I got IS3 i taught wet ammo rack is a useless module but now it is most usefull module ever... of course main problem with this tank is that everything in its tier can penetrate it easily no matter where it aims IS3 is just made of glass (regarding its tier)

How this tank can be hit on the ammo rack form 10 o'clock upfront ? I've had lots of ammo rack hits from that direction. Sorry but I cant see white marked area on this video, only a small area at the rear of turret. Can You help me find this out? Thank You

Plis a video like this but talking about the vk 100 its really harder to penetrate that tank!

O well you don't need to know the weak spots for this tank anymore. Everything can penetrate it now. Freaking M6 penetrated me from front easily and I'm sure he wasn't using gold ammo. Front armor could stop other IS3's Bl9 shots now it cant even block M6s or tiger's shots or even 122mm guns with 175mm... Did they do something to it's armor?
