My first brush pen that I tried and still love is the Tombow Fudenosuke! I love the fact that they have a hard and soft tip so you can found out which one works better for you! I have a heavy hand so the hard tip is easier for me to use!

Hi! I’ve been wanting to learn brush lettering, and I can’t find brush pens where I live, so I got the crayola markers and they work perfectly. Thank you so much for your videos, they’ve helped me a lot to learn.

Thanks for this!! I had started lettering with Tombow dual brush pens and was having such a hard time. I recently got Kuretake Fudebiyori from Amazon and was wowed and how much easier they were to use!!!

the first pen i used for calligraphy is crayola supertips!! i rlly recommend it for beginners bcuz it’s cheap and it doesn’t also fray.. but the problem is that the tip might shorten

I know I am a year late but I just wanna say that I also love the Sharpie Stained! I foolishly ordered some other brush fabric markers but of course they were nothing like the magical sharpies. Glad to have this helpful list to expand my collection. Thank you!!!

Interesting to see you lettering with the Zig Corioco. I have half a dozen and struggle with how stiff they are. But seeing you work yours and how nicely it came out I am going to really give them a go. I obviously need to be much tougher on them.

I tried brush lettering a few days ago and found out my problem is switching thick to thin strokes. This video is very helpful 😊

I started practicing hand-lettering watching your videos and going through your mini-course and actually chose to buy the sharpie stained ones after watching an older video of brush pens you recommended. I think they're pretty nice to learn, I do wish they weren't so super charged with ink but it makes sense considering what they're made for. If anyone's looking for a good one to start, I've had a very good time with these. Also, they're super durable as she mentioned, I've had mine for a while and they're just like new.

I use brush pens for painting. I just make them. Use cheap filler fountain pens and put a raw uncut brush in it or you can buy them with brushes in them already. So cheap, and you can ink up with whatever ink you want.
Edit: like yongsheng 3009 or noodles brush pens probably better choice

You are great and great teacher. Thank you for your efforts. You mentioned lentil brush pens, but they gave several. I don’t know which ones are short pens. Can you help. I’m such a beginner on this subject. I bought Tombow and not happy. So now I’m turning to you. Thank you
