In the first phase of polling in Bihar assembly election 2020, 53.11% voter turnout was recorded till 6 pm, according to the Election Commission update. Voting for first phase concluded. Of the 243 seats, 71 assembly constituencies in 16 districts, including most of the LWE (Left-wing extremism) affected districts, voted in the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections.
