Hackers Say SD-WAN Isn't Secure. Now What?!?

I've been exploring SD-WAN options and if I asked any vendor the questions you suggested, I would get trite reassurances and mealy-mouthed sales-y answers: "Oh, our product is very secure. We take security very seriously. We can push patches and upgrades to you over the internet. etc, etc, etc."

Greg spends a lot of time talking about how bad vendors are and that is one area that I definitely agree with him. Asking these questions of a vendor will not produce any meaningful conversation. That doesn't mean the questions shouldn't be asked, just that you should set your expectations appropriately. Vendors are awful.

I see you guys are familiarizing with that Youtube talking-head/vlog thingy :-) Good video, keep them coming! If I may comment on one small thing, maybe put some filter or blur over the background to make those drawings more visible against the camera shot of you, or even switch to different background with your picture on the side or in the corner. Also, the description box deserves more love - link to resources, links to packetpushers website, social media, links to other videos related to topic at hand, anything you want to promote (subscriptions, merch).

With the presentation, I imagined news room-like report, typical headline music in the background, anchor saying something like "Stay tuned, we have discovered that all devices connected to the internet have vulnerabilities, and hackers find abuse them! See you right after the break!" On a more serious note, yes. But is the risk of SD-WAN greater or smaller than let's say compromised edge router or firewall?
