A better aircraft starts with a better engine. GE's Catalyst™ engine provides the freedom and flexibility to increase range, add payload, or create a larger, quieter cabin that ensures a more peaceful passenger experience.

Wow. Looks like a PC12 or TBM 850. Revolutionary!

I own a PC-12 and I will be purchasing a new plane in 2022 or 23. If the Cessna is on the market at that time or will be fairly soon. I will give the Cessna a shot at my business. The GE turbine would be the reason I will look at this aircraft. I have had 2 planes with the tried and.true PT-6 and have had nothing but good things to say but I would like to see about what GE can bring to market. I would like to see about overall operating cost between the PT-6 and what GE will bring. Looking forward to it!!!

Obviously Cessna trying to get into the PC12 market.

R&D costs were dramatically reduced due to a copy-paste of the Swiss Pilatus PC-12... ;-)

It is significant that Textron chose to launch the Denali as a Cessna, not a Beechcraft. I would expect that Beechcraft will slowly fade from view as its existing product lines, at the end of their lifecycle, will not gain any replacements

PC-12-NG with FADEC. I get a kick out'a the comments that FADEC is some kind of futuristic major discovery/improvement. Pilots have done just fine without FADEC. It's just another way to increase the price another 25k for a computer that cost 800 bucks to make. American made PC12 is not a bad thing.. it'll make Pilatus improve the PC12.. maybe get that truck some speed.

I am not sure how you can call an aircraft and engine that has never flown and which offers no more utility than its competitor, and which uses an untried engine, on which there is no operational history a "success". I don't know why anyone would choose this over the PC12 particularly if you already operate PC12s. PC12 pilots are easy to find, good used aircraft are easy to find, maintenance and parts are easy to find and if you want FADEC and single lever contol, the NGX can give you that on a proven PT6 engine. The Denali makes no sense to me!

Animation: It appears that the fan blade direction changes through the stages? Is this accurate? Are there counter rotating blades on the same driveshaft?

Excited to see what Textron can do. I will be in the market within 18 months, Cessna will need to make it an attractive proposition for me to move to the Denali instead of a 2-3 year old PC-12 NG. American made is attractive and world wide service points but proven product versus newer airframe and I am not sold on FADEC for an engine with this old of a basic design.

Please, somebody out there develop a small turbine, in the 300 to 400 hp range for my bonanza. What happened to the small turbine Rolls Royce was working on years ago?

WTH ! This video is a GE Aviation video, how can you show 20% of the Cessna Denali and 80% of Ge Aviaition ! Fail Dammit !

Interesting video, really nice aircraft.

If it will cost around 2 M it will be a good bargain, but if it will be as pricey as the PC12, then no one will buy it over a proven super reliable, super versatile aircraft.

If GE claim their engines are the choice of airlines, then why is it that more and more airlines replace it with RR

Why are all the comments comparing this with a PC12, looks more like a TBM to me?

they showed an a380 with engine alliance engines instead of a 777 with the ge90s lmao

2020 and not even a prototype in sight. This is looking more and more like a Bush "mission accomplished" thing for GE and Cessna.

It's just a king air with the engine on the nose

Ok, nice airplane but “no significant innovation in this class for many years”?? TBM940 with available lav, home safe, autothrottle, safety protection from upsets, auto icing protection, stick shaker, pilot door, others would be a good counterexample. Disclaimer: I don’t own a Daher product, don’t work for anyone associated with Daher or with selling the TBM line, etc., just an interested pilot and aviation enthusiast.

Not much about the plane itself. A lot about the engine.
