I just keep getting drawn back again and again and again to this song. It strucks such a chord with me, even though I am a Dad, not a mom. Single dad since my wife died when my kids were still little. Got my kids safely into their 20's, got my daughter through puberty (that wasn't fun lol) and moved us half way across the world to give them a chance at a better life. Every now and again I sit back and just think, "shit! we did it!" and I get all emotional. My kids know what I did for them and what sacrifices were made and that is all the validation I need. I would do it all again in a heartbeat just to have the relationship I have with them now.

If you are young and scared and at the beginning of this journey, just know that you CAN do it and that at the end of the day, whatever you did will have been worth it.
