I’m a dude that’s rides BART and my head is always on a swivel. Trains and stations are full of criminals. This woman didn’t have a chance. Disgraceful.

They're "disturbed" because perpetrators NEVER get jailed in their universe.

Another attack on a 74 year old Asian/Filipina

Sounds like a hate crime, based on the names of victim and scumbag, and the lack of photos of either.

They provide no photo, video, or even a description of the suspect, despite the fact that the suspect is already in custody, and the cop freely admits there's CCTV video footage of the incident. We all know why.

I wonder how long his criminal record is I’m sure he should’ve been in jail long time ago

BART used to release surveillance footage, until a pattern quickly emerged that they didn't want people to recognize because it might give the general public an accurate picture of which demographic commits the most crime. They stopped releasing the footage so as not to upset said demographic.

Hey, since you have his name, could you not show us his picture? You even said it was caught on camera; why are you not showing us the person who did the crime?

When there are no consequences for bad behavior, what do you expect.

So many camera angles and no footage of the crime

I was a regular BART rider from the early 2000s until about two years ago. During this time, I observed firsthand the decay of San Francisco and BART into a drug-infested sh*thole. Powell and Civic Center were always my stops, and in the last few years, I avoided the edge, seeing too many people in a high or paranoid state on drugs. It would be too easy for them to push you in front of a train without consequences.

The inner cities of America are becoming third-world places. I travel worldwide and wish we had the backbone to enforce laws and higher behavior expectations like in Singapore or Japan. It is refreshing to visit those places and not smell urine in the train station or worry about some whacked-out drug user pushing you in front of a train

Places run by left-wing politicians like Venezuela, South Africa, and now San Francisco turn into sh*thole once those politicians become entrenched.

I will not set foot in the Bay Area/San Francisco. This area has become one of the most dangerous cities in America today.

When I'm in London and Paris I always stand at the back of the platform, along the wall until the train has stopped. I don't need to be the first on board. Lucy, being a tourist, I had the luxury of not having to go anywhere during the busiest times.

He will be out in no time!! We need to demand lawmakers hold all criminals accountable

No physical description of the suspect. Probably another example of Scott Adams advice not heeded.
