The alloy of law quartet is not part of the main series. The main series is planned to have nine books in total; the first trilogy written in the past (this is is the one we have currently), a trilogy in the present/close past, and a trilogy in the future. A bunch of stuff from all over the cosmere is also going to happen in the final trilogy as well.

So far, there are the first three Mistborn books, in a trilogy, then after several hundred years Alloy of Law, Shadows of Self, The Bands of Mourning, and a new book that's set to come out next year, The Last Metal. No idea after that, but definitely not just the seven books planned at some time or other.

Wax is probably more powerful than Vin with him able to store weight in his iron bracers and steel push dump weight because steel push is only as strong as your weight he can take down a building with ease but being a good guy he doesn't....much
