Brighton kicked off their new season in style under new head coach Fabian Hurzeler, putting three past Everton at Goodison Park. Manchester United also secured victory in their opener, with substitute Joshua Zirkzee's late finish enough for all three points at home to Fulham. United have won just one of their last four visits to Brighton, that victory coming in the Premier
League last season. Expect a much tougher test than the Fulham opener. Here is my tactical preview for tomorrows game...

Rashford has to improve massively in his defensive duties and start tackling fullbacks hard.

I've seen changes in Rashford since his first preseason matches. He is team first, not playing selfishly, not killing himself when he misses chances. This is a big shift form how he normally handles things. he's a confidence player that has typically resorted to being selfish to get himself out of it which cascades downwards as he then continues to miss.

I see change in him. Change that I had hoped when I heard Ruud was coming. Ruud could give us back our world class Rashford. I believe.

I think Maguire will start, it'll be the same situation as with McTominay & Case, when he came in. He'll play Maguire until he makes a mistake or feels De Ligt is up to speed with everyone else.

Im guessing our scoring pattern would be similart to what we saw against villa last season.
The two wingers getting behind the full backs. If they are competent and focused, they would score, and that will be how we win/lose that match. That what i think so at least

Ste you are wrong about Garnacho, imo he has potential to match Rashys best seasons in a consistent manner and we wouldnt know that unless we give him a chance....we cant bench him just because he would be a great bench option

Last season was Garnacho's real breakthrough season. He started matches and changed games. Rashford has been playing for 10 years now. You comparing their goal output last season. Garnacho clearly had the better season. He's literally just breaking through and had better numbers than rashford. Garnacho should start

Point of correction Steve, Garnacho's decision making is better than Rashford's ...but Rashford is a better finisher than Garnny . Well, I better go for decision making because it can create chances for better finishers ; tomorrow's game against Brighton I would rather Rashford is benched for Garnacho !

Ste can't agree with you on the Rashford call. He was not effective last week at all. Doubt he can do it vs a very well organised team... Rashford is not the player you hope he is... Hope I'm wrong of course .. but I doubt it

Rashford has at least played 200 games more than garanacho, so much more experience, and yet he is where he is . Don't think he is good enough
