How long can you leave a opened keg inside the machine for

The co2 cartridge is loose after I screw in the cartridge shell. Struggling to figure out what am I doing wrong. Probably the answer is right in front of me :)

Can anyone say how long there's takes to cool. I put a keg in 10 hours ago (it was room temp) and it is still showing 17c hasn't moved even 1 degree in 9 hours.

Just froth comes out of mine, pouring 5L cider
, cooled for 12 hours down to 4c

Just stay away from any Beer Despenser that needs co2 cartridge
