OSTARA | Ritual Drum Chant | Wheel of the Year | Sound Healing

Показать описание
Dearest friends,
Ostara is the Celtic festival of the Spring Equinox, celebrated this year on March 20th. It is a time of perfect balance, when day and night stand equal before the light overtakes the darkness. The Earth awakens in full, bursting forth with fresh blooms, budding trees, and the hum of new life. The promise of transformation, once whispered in winter, now sings in the warming breeze.
Ostara is named for the goddess of dawn and fertility, who ushers in the season of renewal. She walks the land, scattering blossoms from her basket, stirring the fields to life, and calling forth abundance. The hares dance in her honour, and the eggs they leave behind are symbols of creation, fertility, and infinite potential.
This drum song was written to capture the pulse of the Earth at this sacred turning, the rising energy of the season, and the joy of balance restored. It honours the dance of light and dark, the cycle of rebirth, and the boundless possibilities that spring brings.
The light has returned. The Earth is alive.

LYRICS
Oh blessed Ostara
We welcome the Spring
Now the flowers are waking
And the wild birds sing
New life is stirring
From the Earth deep within
Now the morning has broken
And a new day begins
Oh blessed the springtime
The dawn fills the sky,
The frost melts to rivers,
As Winter drifts by.
The buds start to open,
The green shoots unfold,
The warmth of the sunlight
Turns earth into gold.
Oh blessed Ostara,
The wheel turns again,
The earth gently waking,
By the life giving rain.
The breeze softly whispers
Through blossoms so fair,
New life is a’blooming,
Now there’s hope in the air.
~~~
Listen with headphones, on a speaker or sing around the fire with your loved ones!
With all my love ♥️
