I'm doing DofE with my school but I haven't submitted any evidence yet and I've got my expedition in 2 weeks. Are my teachers meant to submit evidence or me because they said they will?

I am trying to fill in my sections, however it doesn't let me choose a start date. I tried it on another device yet it still wouldn't work. The app would just close itself. Is this an app issue?
