I love how the hero follows the same rhythm as the antihero, but it feels like the music is "calmer", like he's someone that isn't that much guided by emotions, it feels like he's living the same plot by a different approach...

Hey hey. I love the callback to Antihero. But for reals, I'm loving this song. I like the softer but epic tone and the lyrics. It describes what some Heroes essentially are; normal people who are scared in the face of adversity, but have a strong desire to stand for whats right and found the strength to act. There's a beautiful innocence to that imo.

Dont suppose there's an Extended Version for 'The Hero' as well?

The more I listen to this song, he more mesmerizing it becomes. Keep getting goosebumps from the cadence and emotion put into the words; the raspiness at parts is just the cherry on top. Absolutely fantastic!

I've put off commenting on this despite the thoughts that pop up in my head from time to time this song comes up in my playlist. The first time I heard this song was by accident when playing and listening to 'fresh' playlist, although I was gaming, I paused and turned this up, during the first listen I couldn't catch everything and since this made me pause I ran it back. At 3:50 I was sure it went "The heroes are all the same" instead of "Now heroes are all I see", which gave the song the sobering tone, heroes are people with their own goals and things to gain and not some fairytale guardian angels that hop into action risking their lives to save people. This coupled with the main character of this song developing himself in to the hero he once looked up to, and casting away the wish for heroes to arrive for the final battle, made this one truly special. The change in protagonists heart, realising that by becoming a hero, he becomes same as them. This could also mean the topos of theatrum mundi the protagonist was an actor on the stage of life playing the role of the exploited weak turning in to a strong indvidual due to the path that was forced upon him. Hey many say that art is something you can interpret yourself, then Nathan that means you are a virtuoso. Forgive for this yap session as I've wrote for quite a bit, changing and adding, which could result in losing the train of thought.

I don't know if you wanted to convey this message, but this is what I got from your song (that has been on repeat for 2 days running now). The first chorus is quiet, like that first "No" someone abused or bullied gives, that first time they stand up for themselves. The second chorus feels like they finally have the courage to ask for help, but no one has answered them. The third chorus is them realizing that they can save themselves, that they can be their own here. It feels like a message I need right now, so thank you for this amazing song!
