Maybe shutting down the engine wasn't such a good idea. The collateral damage caused by a rocket without fuel would probably been less. Better still is to have a self-destruct installed even for these tests.

Better start working on the landing... Aight. It was an accidental launch and the onboard computer shut the engine off. Of course that's not the same as launching for the sake of testing landing capabilities. SpaceX and even NASA has launch failures on completed rockets. Tianlong 3 has a long while before it is ready for an official launch
