Whatever type of investment you decide to get into, I think the key message here, or for me rather is to start investing no matter how small. Don't rush into anything you're not absolutely sure of. Then of course you can always build from there.

Thank you for the primer. Is the withholding tax something that you can claim back at the end of the year? (I.e., is it managed thru CRA?) And is it charged to holdings in a TFSA?

Hi Brandon, Stock Market, Investing and Trading is getting clearer and clearer to me as I listen and watch to your explanations and advises, point by point. I feel like you really have that intent to help people to learn on how to grow their hard earned money. Keep it up and all the best.

I think as a beginner investor, I wish I was introduced to investing earlier in life.
More than the simulations we may experience in a formal education setting, nothing gives you a true appreciation for investing like having your own real money invested.

I'm wondering if you can possibly do a video on buying US stocks, how to make sure you're buying with USD and not borrowing. Also, how to sell (ie: how to decide on the price etc) all on questrade please! Thank you for an avid fellow Vancouver follower.
Thank you!

hey @Brendon, for a small amount, let's say CAD1.000. Is interesting diversify and buy a bunch of different stocks or is it better focus on fewer stocks, like "stick with 4 stocks"?
