I'm surprised more people haven't caught on. It's real simple. If these rigs were so profitable. They wouldn't sell them and mine with themselves. they can't dump on themselves. It's super obvious. They've been doing it for a decade. Sell the shovels. Don't mine the gold.

I'm at the cross roads of scaling up. The question entered my mind to possibly go asic, bit after careful thought I found exactly what you said so hilariously.
No asics for me, going straight cpu mining rigs and only highest end GPUS from now on.
My strategy for this is that most new coins go through a spec phase on gpu and cpu, so I'll be able to fill massive bags quickly, then I'll watch for when the asics are released (price pump), dump everything and switch to the next one, wash rinse and repeat.blol

Newly manufactured ASICS mine coin, more coin held in big wallets makes price go up, also Timmy’s hear the news and buy coin. Then ASIC company sells machines and coins…win-win.

Folks used to think it’s not profitable to make asic they won’t do it. No one talks about how manufacturers can produce these for mere pennies and cost to build first machine Iant what it was 10 years ago. Pipeline from cpu-gpu-fpga-asic isn’t much much quicker nowadays. Heck with the way alephium and radiant was handled I wouldn’t be surprised if asic wasn’t built first and then play the crowd as it being gpu only. It’s china we are talking about. Not know for trust and privacy

If I build a <10sec car; I'm going to test it, a lot. Then when I build a <9sec car, I will sell you the slower one for the cost of my R&D+fuel+tires, that I burned.
