As a mental health provider, some parents due to mental health issues or substance abuse or both are not able to make rational choice when choosing if their children should get vaccinated or not or which vaccines they should get. A parent who is experiencing a debilitating form of psychotic disorder or chronic meth user or who is a dual diagnosis patient, they will have difficulty making logical choices.
