I await this Film for online viewing, anxiously and eagerly. When I was a young US Airman in the 1960s, I had to come to terms with the fact that my 'inner homosexual' was screaming to come out. I was SO AFRAID. Afraid that I might slip up, give too much attention to certain Airmen; attempt something physical. I was being groomed by USAF to enter into an officer's educational program that would have put me on a career path. The fact is, I loved Military service and the Air Force. Out of fear of disgracing myself, the Air Force and my country, I opted to return to civilian life. Two years later, I "came out" with my first male partner.

This movie left me shaken. I left the theater in tears. I was so hurt and upset. No other movie impacted me this way. I sobbed so much 😢😢

The cinematography is awesome. The trailer is just shown the perfect amount where they don't put everything in trailer and spoil the plot. I loved watching this movie. Broke my heart. Can't imagine the pain of hiding ones true identity cus of some stupid laws also what broke my heart more is that it is based on true story 💔

This film was so deeply moving and so beautifully made that I honestly couldn’t stop thinking about it. You can really feel the passion that went into making it and telling Sergey’s story. The acting and the cinematography are both stellar. The building of Roman and Sergey’s relationship is done is such a perfect, classy, and believable way, and it kept me so tuned in from start to finish. While some compare the film to Brokeback Mountain or Call Me By Your Name, I think this film tops them both as it is a true story direct from Sergey, and not just a work of fiction. I just can’t say enough good things about it and am grateful there is another great LGBT film out in the world. I hope that it continues to spread to new audiences and get the recognition it absolutely deserves. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of the crew and financial backers that made this amazing film possible.

Everyone, don't watch this movie if you don't want your heartbroken. This movie was devastating but beautiful and it also crushed my heart into bits.

I can hardly wait to see this movie. I served in the USAF 1971 to 1975 served in south east Asia during the Vietnam war and I was definitely too afraid to let anyone know who I really was. So glad that men and Women can now serve without fear.🇺🇸

This movie is added to my "Inner Circle of Movies" that I absolutely adore no matter what - only three made it that far; Firebird, Call me by Your Name, and Man in an Orange Shirt. The joy they give is as big as the pain that comes with it. Beautiful masterpiece, this one. Bravo!

This story is absolutely incredible and the movie production was top notch! A perfect way to depict this true story while giving it the respect it deserves! The actor’s chemistry was perfect, you really believed what you were seeing. I adore this movie and this story and I’m so glad they made it to tell Sergey’s love story

This movie defines the true and practical meaning of love, that love knows no gender, no situation and no time. It does not choose. That pain and happiness are both part of the process. And that love is the best feeling and experience in this world!

Beautifully made indeed. Kudos to the actors and the whole production staffs. The love for the craft is felt in the entire movie. 👏🏼

I have to say that kiss in the water felt so real and emotional. Not many do. Will watch on my day off. I don't usually earn these but love Tom great screen they all were. The music the filming nicely done from what I saw

What's sad about this is that Sergey didn't know where is Roman's grave, right? Or that he cannot make a visit to Roman's grave. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The fact that this is a true story and the film is a Military POV, I burst so much tears. I know that Military-related romance/drama films hit really hard; it never fails to tear me up.
