Since Griner, whenever I see a story like this, I like to pop in and say: Paul Whelan, thinking about you, buddy. Not all of America has forgotten. I can't imagine. Don't know you, but think about you and pray for you.

The Russians haven’t assassinated him the way the Israelis assassinated American reporter Shireen abu Akleh. Why the fuss about Gershkovich and silence about Akleh?

Let’s do a poll, would you say that government employees are doing a good job or bad job here in America?

The Russians caught him "investigating" Arms production. In a war it's probably a good idea to ask for official clearance when doing a sensitive subject in a country at war. I'm just a tourist but when I am in another country and I see something that might be military I'll ask a local for permission before I take a picture

I feel sad for Evan and his family but everyone forgets to acknowledge the citizens of this great country that have their Constitutional rights violated every day and are locked up on trumped of bs charges. I'm praying for combat veteran Beau Bish who's sitting in jail in Waterloo. Stay strong brother Beau.

"So sorry for him and his friends and family. Today's relationship with Putin puts this very much at the precipice in a rocky situation without a clear process of negotiations."
