corsair H150i lcd display triangle of death, freezing, app issues etc! PROBLEM SOLVED

I've had nothing but issues with my H150i since I purchased my computer. I've been on the phone with Corsair. I've gone through all the plugs 10 times over I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app 10 times over this video should help you the y splitter that is provided with corsair, it is not sufficient for the power that the fans and lcd draw or its a faulty item. Once I eliminated the splitter it solved all my issues.

Thank you so much bro! That cable is absolutely the problem! I was having the same issues and tried everything to fix it, thought I ruined it… changed that cable and it immediately worked! Pump turned on and ICUE updated. You saved my weekend off of work!

The solution is to remove the 4 screws holding the plastic shroud behind the lcd. If your running a AMD cpu it won’t seat properly that’s why you get the triangle. Your welcome! 😊

I have always had mine plugged directly into the MOB and still had this problem. Every few weeks I would have to do a cold boot to fix it, but now that’s not working anymore. Im replacing it with the new Lian Li aio when it drops

Tried everything. Was about to buy a new power supply. I uninstalled icue and reinstalled about 5 times. Turned off emergency shut down. Nothing. Removed this splitter because my board has 2 USB connections on it. Issue fixed. No more random shut downs

Mine doesn’t even show up in the icue app and only works for the split second I turn my pc on them it’s right back to the red triangle

I am having the same issues. I am not using the y splitter that it came with. I have the usb separated on the motherboard and it’s not working for me. Everything is updated. Any ideas?

Hey. I'm having the issue where the everything works except that on icue I can't customize the lcd screen. i've tried many things like reinstalling the software, doing a power cycle, making sure my pc is updated etc, but nothing fixed it. I didn't build it myself but I know that we used a corsair usb hub to connect a few things, one of them I believe was the usb of the cooler. Do you think this could be causing the issue? I mean, the system works, it's just that the Setup option in iCUE software to add gifs is not there :/

Hi im strugglin with the same problems freeze in Windows when icue is on the lcd is not reconized on icue i have 0 degres on the lcd or the triangle i dont use the y usb splitter if i want to use my computer i have tu uninstall icue

I've also heard that using a Corsair USB HUB that runs off of SATA power cable would work as well or the NZXT USB hub? has anyone found that to be a solution potentially?

Ive gone through almost all the fix scenarios now, waiting on an NzXT hub from across the planet... another thing i found after 7000 forum threads, is to disable your usb selective suspend settings. Along with that try if you can, to give each device its own sata cable to the psu. I have 3 plugged into one right now, will try to seperate the 3. Also opted to change power management to high perfromance from balanced...throw the juice at em!

wait what doesnt make sense is that the USB splitter is just to relay info from the software to the commander pro / core/XT which ever your using. the USB does not have much power in it. the commander pro/core/xt is powered by sata??? so how would that fix anything??
