#LongIsland’s Best Waterfront Restaurants: Ferryman’s Grille at Danfords 📍: Port Jeff #newshorts

Ferryman’s Grille at @danfords is open for business! ☀️

Danfords hosted me at the recently reopened waterfront restaurant and folks, it was delicious.

I’ve featured #Danfords before and have shared great detail about the grounds which are absolutely stunning.

#FerrymansGrille itself is a beauty featuring wide open windows that look out over the deck and #LongIslandSound (the views👌). Circular wood light fixtures are strewn without the space. It’s bright, airy, and relaxing.

We kicked things off with charcuterie boards, oysters, shooters, burrata, and shrimp cocktail before moving on to lobster rolls (SO GOOD), steak, fish and chips, salad, and more. We sipped on two different cocktail punches (pretty sure I drank an entire pitcher myself) as well as a few other cocktails prior to dinner that I’ll share with you in another post very soon. And, of course, we topped things off with an endless spread of desserts including macarons, rainbow cookies, chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake, brownies, blondies, cheesecake, and cannolis (chef’s kiss) as well as a special cappuccino from Caleb who’s on the Ferryman’s team. @rogersfrigate sent us home with some of their delicious pastries and chocolates.

The highlight was the crew. Every single person was so accommodating and lovely (shout out to Derek, Vanessa, Caleb, Angela, and the rest of the team). And a big thanks to Morgan, Paige, and Alex for setting it all up. It was one of my favorite experiences yet.
